Any alteration from the design, or alternates, should be demonstrated to Tolemac Solar through PDF. Any additional details showing things like wiring methods and electrical diagrams etc, are helpful but not required. Pictures are also appreciated where you think it’s helpful.
Bidders shall hold this cost in their bid on submission.
Tolemac Solar would own any additional cost over the initial assumption included in bid.
We are aware of that and have factored it into our payback calculations.

We were not around, but our neighbors were. They said that our foundation had a small amount of ledge, he thinks on the north side. No blasting was done. His basement and the current buried power line only hit shale and were easy to do. The Site Pictures shows one outcrop in the field where the system will be going. We do not know if this is a big rock or the tip of something bigger.
Yes we are. Hollis did not specifically allow ground mounted systems. We worked with the town to create the new regulations. The specifics of this sytem were taken into account when writing the regulations.
The main idea came from the idea that some day there is going to be a power outage and on a sunny day we are going to be staring at a field of solar panels with no power. We are also looking at getting an all electric car and don't want to be stuck in a power outage. The main restriction is that the solution can not go outside the 1 acre the town regulations allow for a ground solar installation. We also already have solar thermal on our roof.
